Replacement Part Warranty: Following the expiration of Manitowoc’s product warranty, any replacement part purchased by the equipment owner is warranted for a period of ninety (90) days from installation date of replacement part, the compressor or evaporator is warranted for a period of one (1) year from installation date of replacement part. All parts are to be sourced through the local Distributor to qualify for warranty.

Labor warranty is to repair or replace defective components as per time and hourly rate guidelines published by Manitowoc. Does not include travel, normal maintenance, cleaning, adjustments, or correction of improper installation.

INSTRUCTIONS

This is a digital copy of the Warranty Labor Claim and is only intended for use by Manitowoc Ice & Kooliare Factory Authorized Service (FAS) and Distributor Authorized Service Dealer (DASD).  Do not Distribute this form without written consent from Manitowoc Ice / Koolaire.  Only FAS's and DASD's are Authorized to conduct warranty for Manitowoc Ice and Koolaire ice machines. 

To use the digital form: 

  1. Click on the Warranty Claim Form image on the right and the form will open in a new window or tab. 
  2. Complete the form.  All Red outlined fields are required.  (see below for Detailed Instructions)
  3. Save an Electronic copy:
    • FAS =
      • 1 for your records
      • 1 for the factory
      • 1 for the customer
    • DASD =
      • 1 for your records
      • 1 for you local distributor
      • 1 for the customer
  4.   Submit the Claim:
    • FAS (choose one of the following)=
      • Email, IceClaims@welbilt.com
      • Fax, 1-800-235-9695 or 1-920-683-7585
      • Mail
        • Manitowoc Ice, ATTN:  Claims Processing, P.O.Box 1720, Manitowoc, WI54221-1720
    • DASD = (All Claims must be submitted to your local distributor)
      • They will advise the best method of submittal and supply the proper address.

  • Please provide a copy of the original invoice if available.
  • All Parts must be purchased and processed through the local Distributor.

Claims Processing System (CPS)

NOTE:  The CPS is used only for claim submission for service work already performed by an authorized servicer, not for requesting service on Welbilt equipment.  If you need to request service please contact the local Welbilt authorized servicer or distributor.

The particular software update for Convotherm 4 gas units has to be done by an authorised service partner (there are adjustment steps necessary).

Please ensure that only software which is suitable for the unit series is installed on your Convotherm unit. This software cannot be used for other unit types from the range. If this is disregarded, no liability will be assumed for malfunctions.
