This year Manitowoc Ice has been recognized with three key industry awards for our efforts.

Kitchen Innovations 2011 Indigo ice machine receives prestigious 2011 Kitchen Innovation Award
Manitowoc Ice was recently recognized with a 2011 National Restaurant Association© (NRA) Kitchen Innovations Award for its new Indigo ice machine. The Kitchen Innovations Award recognizes groundbreaking kitchen equipment in the foodservice market. Products that receive the KI innovations award enable foodservice operations to run faster and more efficiently by increasing productivity, quality, safety, cost-efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Indigo offers intelligent diagnostics and 24/7 monitoring. Operators can program ice production and monitor all functions including ice clarity, machine maintenance, energy/water usage, and the unique LuminIceTM growth inhibitor.

Manitowoc Indigo ice machine wins Dealer Design Award
Manitowoc's IndigoTM ice machine was recognized for excellence in product design in the 8th annual Dealer Design Awards Program sponsored by The Air Conditioning Heating & Refrigeration News magazine. The Indigo was the gold level winner in the Refrigeration and Ice Machine Category.

An independent panel of 30 contractors acted as judges in the contest that had 127 entries from over 80 different brands. The NEWS' Dealer Design Awards program was established to honor excellence in HVACR product design.

Best In Class 2012 Manitowoc Ice voted Best in Class for the 12th consecutive year
The annual FE&S magazine (Foodservice Equipment & Supplies©) Best in Class survey results are in and Manitowoc Ice has again won the top place of Overall Best in Class for the Ice Maker category. Foodservice dealers, distributors, consultants and operators are surveyed each year and asked questions regarding customer service, product durability, brand recognition, and manufacturer integrity.

According to the magazine, this year's Best in Class winners have each done an exceptional job of demonstrating the reliability and adaptability of their products in the foodservice marketplace.

Throughout the ten years that FE&S has championed the Best in Class Survey Manitowoc Ice has never given up the top spot of Overall Best in Class.
