Royal Oaks, a Youngstown, OH staple, first opened it doors after the prohibition in 1934 and has been serving the community spirits and food ever since. Purchased 14 years ago by the Kennedy brothers, John and Louie, the bar had taken on an eclectic feel thanks to Louie’s decorating style. So while John cooked and ran the bar, Louie “entertained” customers, but this pair stopped communicating and were losing ,000 a month due to poor management. John was also purchasing ice daily, due to a non-functioning ice machine - spending upwards of per month on bagged ice and wasting valuable time running out to get it when he needed to be focused on running his bar. 

Even during the initial stress test during the episode, John had to leave the bar to go get ice his staff needed to make cocktails, reminding everyone just how important it is to have ice when and where it’s needed. In the end, Manitowoc Ice Indigo® Series provided an indispensable solution to their ice crunch. Allowing them to focus on ensuring their customer’s thirst was quenched.
